Mrs. Cleadus Kessler McMahan, age 93 of Greensburg, KY, passed away on Friday in Bardstown at the Flaget Memorial Hospital, Bardstown, KY.

The funeral service for Mrs. Cleadus Kessler McMahan will be conducted at 10amCT, Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral, Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY with burial to follow in the Fry Cemetery. The family requests visitation from 4-8pmCT, on Sunday, April 25, 2010, and and after 7amCT, Monday, April 26, 2010, at the funeral home.




Mrs. Cleadus Kessler McMahan, 93, Green Co., KY (1917-2010)

Mrs. Cleadus Kessler McMahan was born Friday, March 30, 1917 and died Saturday, April 24, 2010, in Bardstown, Nelson Co., KY, at the age of 93 years and 25 days.

Survivors include the following:
  • A daughter and son in law: Rita and Randall Joe Milby of Summersville, KY
  • .A son and two daughters in law: Dennis and Brenda McMahan of Knoxville, TN; and Carolyn McMahan of Fishers, IN

  • A brother: James G. "Pete" Kessler of Greensburg, KY

  • Three sisters: Opal Matney and Laverne McKinney both of Greensburg, KY; and Hortense Gleaton of Georgia

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Ten great-grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Fry Cemetery. Donations may be made at the Funeral Home.

Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
