Shawn Matthew Brumley, 32, died Friday, April 23, 2010, in Jamestown, KY.

The funeral service will be at 1pmCT, Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Tony Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Sam York Family Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at the funeral home.

Shawn Matthew Brumley, Russell Co., KY (1978-2010)

Shawn Matthew Brumley was the son of Carol G. York Brumley and Danny L. Brumley, who survive. He was born on Saturday, February 25, 1978, in Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY, and died on Friday, April 23, 2010, in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 32 years, 1 months, and 29 days.

He was a United States Marine veteran and was a welder by trade.

Besides his parents, he is survived by the following:
  • One son: Justin Tyler Brumley, North Carolina

  • One brother: Eric Brumley, Morrison, TN

  • One sister: Holly (Joey) Adams, Russell Springs, KY

  • Maternal grandmother: Myrtle York, Jamestown, KY

  • One nephew: Trevor Brumley, Morrison, TN

  • And aunts and uncles
