Obituary: Corine Huddleston, 73, Adair Co., KY

She was a member of a highly regarded South Adair County family and was a member of the Melson Ridge Separate Baptist Church

Corine Huddleston, 73, of the Cundiff community of Adair Co., KY passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Summit Manor Health & Rehab Center in Columbia, KY.

The funeral service will be Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 12pm Noon CT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY with Bro. Ralph Hadley and Bro. Buford Hadley the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Melson Cemetery at Cundiff. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Friday, April 23, 2010, at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Carrie Hadley Helm and the widow of Raymond Huddleston who preceded her in death on October 2, 2005.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Debbie Willis and husband Greg and Peggy Shepherd and husband Joe of Columbia, KY

  • Two sons: Ronnie Huddleston and wife Connie and Richie Huddleston of Cundiff, KY

  • Two brothers: Billy Helm and Stevie Helm of Cundiff, KY

  • Two sisters: Genell Grant of Glensfork, KY; and Shirley Lawless of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Davy Burchett, Alisha Franklin and Lea Coots

  • Four great grandchildren: Chasity Burchett, Zakk Wylder Burchett, Shelby Franklin and Kayln Franklin

  • Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
She was a member of Melson Ridge Separate Baptist Church.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.
