Kacy Wilson will be inducted into NSCS

Kacy Wilson of Columbia, KY, the daughter of Rick and Sandy Wilson, has been accepted for membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) and will be honored during an Induction Convocation this fall on the campus of Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, KY.

Ms. Wilson was on the President's List for the fall of 2009. This list is reserved for students earning a 3.8 to 4.0 Grade Point Average.



Membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars is by invitation only, and is based on grade point average and class standing.

The NSCS is headquartered in Washington, DC. It was founded in 1994, by Stephen E. Loflin. It currently has over 625,000 members.

The aim of the organization is to give students access to a number of benefits, including career and networking resources, scholarships, travel, and service projects both on campus and in the students' communities, according to the founder.

Kacy is a graduate at Adair County High School where she was active in the Beta Club, the High School Marching Band.
