Jones Chapel UMC Pie Supper and Auction

By Chad Parnell
News from Jones Chapel United Methodist Church

This past Sunday night Jones Chapel UMC members were eagerly discussing what items they would be cooking and donating to our upcoming pie supper and auction. Items being cooked included Italian cream cakes, dried apple pies, chocolate pies, and on and on.

Some of the husbands are already being informed that they would be paying high prices for their wives' delicious baked goods!

Others are putting together "themed baskets" such as pet supplies, movie night, gardening, and kitchen supplies to be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

We will also have hot food for sale prior to and during our pie supper and auction.

The pie supper and auction begins at 6pmCT, this Saturday, April 17, 2010, at the VFW building, 411 Fairground ST, Columbia, KY.We invite everyone to come out and support our fundraiser as we work to raise money for upcoming church projects and activities. -Chad Parnell
