Obituary: William "Billy" Frank Grider, 59, Russell Co., KY

Mr. Grider was retired school administrator. He was a member of the Russell Springs United Methodist Church

William "Billy" Frank Grider, 59, Jamestown ST, Russell Springs, KY, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at his home.

The funeral service will be Saturday, April 3, 2010, at 10amCT, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Jim Kingry, the officiating clergy. Special music will be by Wes Bottom. Burial will be in the Rexroat Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Friday, April 2, 2010.



Pallbearers: Matt Gosser, Gary Robertson, Larry Kinnett, David Robertson, Rick Holt, and Brandon Selby.

William "Billy" Frank Grider, 59, Russell Co., KY (1950-2010)

William "Billy" Frank Grider was the son of the late Geneva Glover Grider and Clifton Grider. He was born in Pulaski Co., KY, Friday, September 22, 1950 and died Wednesday, March 31, 2010, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 59 years, 6 months, and 9 days.

He was a retired school administrator and was a member of the Russell Springs United Methodist Church.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two children: Sherry (Jason) Matney, Russell Springs, KY; and Jason (Dianna) Grider, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Ella Denise Robertson, Emery-Kate Robertson, and Jesse Grider

  • One brother: Bobby (Sue) Grider, Jamestown
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. These can be made at the funeral home.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
