Obituary: Alma Strange, 89, Adair Co., KY She was a member of a large, respected South Adair County family. She was a member of the Antioch United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Alma Strange, age 89, of the Sparksville Community, Columbia, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 12:20pmCT at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow, KY. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Lonny Karnes and Bro. Michael Moon the officiating clergy. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery, 8147 Burkesville RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Friday, March 12, 2010, at the funeral home. Alma Strange, Adair Co., KY (1920-2010) She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Ferbie Smith Dillon. She was born in Cumberland County, KY. on Sunday, November 21, 1920 and died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, in Glasgow, Barren Co., KY, at the age of 89 years, 3 months, and 18 days. She was the widow of J. W. Walon Strange who preceded her in death nn May 20, 2004. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Doris Scott and her step-mother, Ellen Dillon.
