Gordo, the dog with blue eyes which see into your soul, has new home By Linda K. Miller Dunnville, Casey Co., KY. (606) 787-8371 Wonderful, exciting news..."Gordo" found a Forever Home through your site!! We came home late Wednesday to a message on our machine from an older women, Georgia, who recently lost her beloved pet, one she had rescued as a pup. We had a vet appointment the next morning and our vet is also her vet, Dr. Janice Coffey, so we agreed to meet there. We forgot our camera in all the excitement, but I must tell you Georgia could not of been any more loving and perfect for Gordo. She held him almost the entire time at Dr. Janice's office, talking and stroking him. She even refused to change his name saying that it fit him so well. We provided for Dr. Janice to give him his shots, worming and rabies., as we were so thankful to this wonderful lady who picked Gordo to become part of her life and family...forever. Now we must continue seeking the same type of home for our "Little Margie"...she was very lost yesterday and last night, when "Gordo" did not return with us. She is so gentle, small and lady like...I do not want to take her to the animal shelter. She is the black and white pup. Maybe you could let folks know that if she is not adopted...her fate will be the animal shelter. I was just so encouraged yesterday when I met Georgia...and how she immediately loved Gordo. I know there are more folks out there who feel like we do, that animals are not disposible; they must be taken care of and when you can no longer care for them, it is your responsibility to find someone who will continue caring for them. Little Margie, may appear to be a plain jane dog to some, but she has a magical spark you can not resist once you met her. We can not thank you enough for all your help finding homes for these "Barn Orphans" who found their way into our hearts during their fight to live.-Linda K.
