Filings for local offices are made in the office of Adair County Clerk Sheila Blair, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY. The deadline to file for the May 18, 2010 primary election was January 26, 2010, at 4pmCT. Offices not subject to a primary have a filing deadline of August 10, 2010, at 4pm. The general election is November 2, 2010 General Election, the very earliest day of November on which the election could be held (first Tuesday after the first Monday in November).
