Election 2010: Harrison Moss is a candidate for Adair Co., KY Sheriff By Harrison Moss, candidate for the nomination of the Democratic Party for office of Adair Co., KY Sheriff To the Voters of Adair County. My name is Harrison Moss and I would like to announce my candidacy for the Democratic nomination for Adair County Sheriff. My wife of 27 years is Shirley Moss who is employed at Adair County Elementary School. Our son is 17 year old Matthew Moss, who attends Adair County High School. I have lived and worked in Columbia and or Adair Country all of my adult life.As a young adult, I worked at Druthers' Restaurant, I went from there to Oshkosh B'Gosh Factory, and for the past 15 years I have worked for Newcomb Oil Company as a Petroleum Products delivery driver and bulk sales. Through my work and travel, and volunteer work in several churches, clubs, and non-profit organizations. I have come in contact with many Adair Countians; and if you do not know me, I encourage you to ask your friends and neighbors. I believe Adair County is a great County and for many years I have wanted to serve Adair County as Sheriff. I believe the Sheriff must stand strong against all crime and criminal activity and be someone who people do not fear to call and report criminal activity or discuss any situations. I also believe that with qualified, experienced deputies and staff, strong faith, honesty, hard work, and dedication to the job of Sheriff, Adair County can be better for us, our children and grandchildren.I humbly ask for your vote and support. I will try to see as many of you as possible in the upcoming months. Feel free to call me if you have any questions at (270) 384-9317. Thank you. -Harrison Moss See also:
