Lindsey Wilson, Campbellsville U help Haiti earthquake victims Donations will be taken. Ticket sales to games tonight with Campbellsville University will be donated to the Haiti disaster By Chris Wells, LWC Sports Information Director COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College and Campbellsville University doubleheader on Thursday will serve as another opportunity to help the victims of last week's Haiti earthquake. Money donations will be accepted at gate, as well With the help of the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), the LWC Student Activities Board, LWC Residence Life and the two athletic departments encourage those attending the games to be a part of the relief effort. The doubleheader begins with the women's game at 5pmCT. More than 70,000 perished in the tragedy with more still missing. During Thursday's doubleheader, donations will be accepted in order to help those who have been affected by this disaster. Proceeds from tickets sales will also be donated to the Haiti relief efforts. Donation bins for the items will be at the entrance, and items that can be brought for donation are as follows:
