Election 2010: Bruce McCloud, candidate for Adair County Sheriff Hello, I am Bruce McCloud, Republican Candidate for Adair County Sheriff. I am a lifelong resident of Adair County and have lived most of my life in the Glensfork area of Adair County. I am the son of the late Jerry McCloud of the Neatsville area and Linda Selby Simmons and Leon Simmons of Glensfork and the grandson of the late Evelyn McCloud and Earl and Myrtle Selby. I have been married to Sandra Carter McCloud for 21 years. We have one daughter Tiffany McCloud Collins and her husband Jason Collins of Glensfork. I started my career in Law Enforcement in January of 2007 as a Deputy Sheriff. I am a 2008 graduate of the Department of Criminal Justice Basic Police Academy. On October of 2008 I was promoted to Chief Deputy and currently hold that position with the Sheriff Department. If elected Sheriff I feel that not only my Law Enforcement experience and training but the experience and training of current deputies will be a great asset to the Department and to the people of Adair County. As of February 2010 all current deputies will be certified through the Department of Criminal Justice. My current position also has gained me knowledge and experience in the daily operational functions of the office as well as the many years of experience with the current office staff Alice Stephens and Suzanne Rogers. The Sheriff's office will continue to run in an efficient and professional manner as it does today. If elected Sheriff my deputies and I will work hard to combat all the problems Adair County faces today with hard work, respect and dedication to all the citizens of Adair County. I look forward to meeting with each of you as I work my campaign, however if I am unable to see you I would like to take this opportunity to ask for your vote and support in the May Primary for Adair County Sheriff. Thank you, Bruce McCloud 2010 Candidate for Adair County Sheriff See also: offices as filed in the office of Adair County Court Clerk Sheila Blair, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY.
