Election 2010: Pam Yarberry is candidate for Adair Co. Regional Jailer By Pam Yarberry, candidate for the Republican nomination for Adair County Regional Jailer My name is Pam Yarberry and I am a Republican candidate for Adair County Jailer. My parents are James and Judy Watson. I have one sister and one brother, Sheila Blair and Steve Watson. I am the parent of three sons, Chris, Joel, and Tyler. I also have seven beautiful grandchildren. I have been employed at the jail since 1995. I started out working in the kitchen and later went to booking. I have been office manager for the last five years. While working in the office I feel that I have acquired a lot of the skills needed to run the jail. I have assisted with budget preparation and am responsible for deposits and disbursements of canteen and bond moneys. There are several things that I would like to accomplish as Jailer. i would like to have recording video cameras installed in booking, not only for the safety of officers and deputies but inmates as well. I would like to see additional beds added to the Class D facility. An additional 20 beds would increase revenue by $228, 000.00 I would be interested in starting a S.A.P. (substance abuse program) program for inmates who have alcohol and drug abuse problems. If elected Jailer I would run the jail as efficiently as possible. I am willing to work closely with the public and Fiscal Court with any suggestions they might have for the jail. I take pride in the job that I do now and would do the same as Jailer. I ask for and would appreciate your vote and support for me as Jailer of Adair County. Thank you, Pam Yarberry See also:
