Election 2010:
Perry Reeder candidate for re-election, Dist. 4 Magistrate

By Perry Reeder, Republican Candidate for Adair Co. Magistrate, District 4
in the May 18, 2010 Primary election in Sparksville/Breeding, Gradyville/Nell and South Columbia 2 precincts.

Hello, I'm Perry Reeder, and I want to ask for your vote and support in the May 18, 2010 primary election.

I have had the privilege of serving the people of District 4 since January 1, 2007.

I am a lifelong resident of Adair County and have been a resident of the district since I was four years old. I am married to the former Sonja Sexton, who has lived most of her life in District 4 as well.

We have one daughter, Miranda Cheatham who is a nurse working in the Westlake Healthcare System in Greensburg at Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital. She is married to NIck Cheatham, the son of the late Dr. George and Sue Cheatham.

I have worked hard to see that county government is doing the most we can get both for Adair County and for the people of the Fourth District.

Our greatest emphasis has been on improving the roads and bridges in the the district. I believe most people will agree that there has been great progress in the past four years, especially in the many miles of new road which has been blacktopped, had new chip and seal, and improvements to drainage. One new bridge has been built, on Country Club Road in Gradyville, replacing a narrow bridge which was beginning to pose a safety hazard.

In the next four years, if elected, I will continue to work on roads, bridges, public safety, as well as for jobs, and increased economic growth in District Four.

So much is happening in our District now. I am excited about the prospect for an improved economy as the new roads are opened and as we work to bring industry and more retailing to Adair County.

I will work with the community, church and non profit organizations to improve public safety for everyone in the county. I support the Breeding Volunteer Fire Department and the Columbia and Adair County Fire Departments and all other Emergency organizations.

I am proud of the tremendous progress Adair County Fiscal Court has shown in the last four years and ask for your support so that I can use the experience I have gained to help continue the effort to bring the greatest benefit for the the money we spend.

I appreciate the support of people who encouraged me to seek re-election. I humbly appreciate the support you have shown for me to run for another term.

I will make every effort to see each of you individually, but if for some reason I do not talk with you personally before the election, I am always available to talk with you by phone at (270) 634-3234 or I will come to your home, if you wish. -Perry Reeder
