She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Campbellsville, KY. She was born in Marion Co, KY, and died in Hardin Co., KY. Services and burial will be in Taylor Co., KY.

Nancy Katherine Wise of Elizabethtown,76, died at 1:43amET, Thursday, January 14, 2010 in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY, at the age of 76 years, 8 months, and 7 days.

The funeral service will be at 4pmET/3pmCT, Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. James E. Jones. Burial will be in the Brockman Cemetery, Taylor Co., KY Visitation will be 12 Noon - 4pm ET/11am-3pmCT on Sunday, January 17, 2010, at the funeral home.


Nancy Katherine Wise, formerly of Taylor Co., KY (1933-2010)

Nancy Katherine Wise of Elizabethtown, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Thomas Robert Walston and Bessie Grimes Walston, was born Sunday May 7, 1933 in Marion County, KY. She died at 1:43amET, Thursday, January 14, 2010 in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY, at the age of 76 years, 8 months, and 7 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She united in marriage to Edward Jake Wise December 24, 1952. He preceded her in death October 1, 1983.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Tommy Wise of Campbellsville, KY/li>
  • Two granddaughters and their spouses: Kelly and Randy Barnett of Rineyville, KY; and Kristen and Tom Walters of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three grandsons: Rob Clark of Campbellsville, KY; Josh Keltner of Nicholasville, KY; and Thomas Erin Wise of Nebraska

  • Nine great-grandchildren: Austin Seaborne, Levi Barnett, Chelsey Barnett, Harley Walters, Jacob Walters, Chandler Walters, Joshua Keltner, Elizabeth Wise and Lauren Wise
  • And many other relatives and friends.

  • She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Venita Ann Clark and two sisters, Fannie Mae Walston and Mary Jane Walston.
