Election 2010: Tim Murphy is candidate for Adair Co. Regional Jailer By Tim Murphy, Republican Candidate for Adair Co. Jailer in the May 18, 2010 Primary election Hello, my name is Tim Murphy. I am a Republican Candidate for Adair Co. Jailer. I have been a life long resident of Adair County and live in the Sparksville Community, where I have farmed most of my life. I have been married to my wife, Deena Walker Murphy for 16 years. We have one daughter, Lauren, who is a Sophomore at Adair Co. High School. I was a Deputy Sheriff under Bobby Willis and Ralph Curry for 7 years. I currently work at the jail and believe that it should be run with the highest level of professionalism and respect for both the employees and inmates. I also believe that inmates should have every opportunity to obtain the skills needed to address whatever problems they may face in society. I would STRONGLY encourage the GED program, along with every available substance abuse program. I will also continue the church ministry and open the jail doors to the pastors at any time they are needed. I, as Adair Co. Jailer, would also address the ongoing financial and building maintenance problems. I will also work to obtain any and all grants made available to the jail. If elected I will work hard for the people of the county and help maintain a budget that will benefit the jail and county. Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself. Your vote and support would be GREATLY appreciated!! -Tim Murphy See also:
