Eddie Darnell has photo published in book

Columbia photographer Eddie Darnell has a photo published in a book, "The Spark," which is on sale at Columbia Walmart, she wife, Lynne Darnell, writes.

"He was approached last summer to do a photo shoot for a lady who had lost a temendous amount of weight and was told if they liked his work, it would be included in the book," she writes.

The editors did like his work. The photo, of Deondra Wardelle of Louisville, KY, appears in "The Spark."

"Eddie has tinkered with photography for many years but in the last 2 years had begun taking it more seriously," Mrs. Darnell writes. "He would do photos for Ohio Valley Wrestling, various modeling portfolios, Prom and Senior pictures and family portraits."

The work paid off with this, his first ever photo used in a national print publication.
