Minor injury accident occurs 8 miles east of Columbia, KY By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - Trooper Jeremy Johnson is investigating a collision that occurred eight miles East of Columbia on KY 80 at 1pmCT, Thursday, January 7, 2010. Reba Cowan, age 49 of Columbia, KY was traveling West on KY 80 in a 1999 Ford Ranger when she lost control due to slick road conditions, crossed the center line, and went over an embankment. Cowan was wearing a seat belt; she was treated and released from Westlake Regional Hospital. Two passengers in the vehicle, 9 yr old Byron Corbin and 1 yr old Jaicee Reynolds both of Columbia< KY were restrained and not injured.
