Kentucky Color: Bald Eagle in Taylor Co., KY

By Billy Joe Fudge, President
Homeplace on Green River, 6035 New Columbia RD, Campbellsville, KY

A visitor from up North looking for lunch in Taylor County, Tuesday, December 22, 2009. This is an immature Bald Eagle, probably less than 4 years old, was next to Dixie Farm Store, 1505 New Columbia RD, Campbellsville, KY - the John Deere place, right before a dive down to pick up lunch, probably a mouse. Excellent Bald Eagle viewing usually down river from the Green River Bridge just below the dam in early mornings and late afternoons. Drive slow and good luck.
