Obituary: Alice Fay Catlett, 68, Adair Co. KY native

She was an Adair County native, a member of a large, highly regarded South Adair County family. She was a former employee of Beta Shoe Co. and Meadowview Health Care

Alice Faye Catlett, 68, Salem, IN, died Sunday, December 13, 2009, at 5:45pmCT, at Meadowview Health Care Center in Salem, IN.

The funeral service will be Friday, December 18, 2009, at 1pmET/NoonCT at Weathers Funeral Home, 106 S. Shelby ST, Salem, IN. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-8pmET on Thursday, December 17, 2009, and after 8amET, Friday, the day of the funeral.



Alice Faye Stotts Catlett, 68, Adair Co. native< (1941-2009)

A native of Adair Co., KY, she was born December 1, 2009 a daughter of the late Bill and Bonnie Sexton Stotts, and died December 13, 2009, in Salem, IN, at the age of 68 years, 12 days.

She was a former employee of Beta Shoe Co. and a former nurse's aid for Meadowview Health Care.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Jackie Stinnett, Orleans; IN; and Annette Moon, Campbellsburg, IN

  • Three brothers: Larry, Donald, and James Stotts, all of Columbia, KY

  • Two sisters: Geneva Janes and Marsha Fudge, both of Columbia, KY

  • Eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a son, Marcus L. Claywell, and two brothers, Frankie and Johnnie Stotts.
