Patty Jones: A thank you and a challenge ". . . in spite of the outcome the staff at Col. Wm. Casey Elementary will continue to do what has been done there for the past 50 years....provide the best education possible to our students with the resources and facilities we have." -PATTY JONES s/Patty Jones Proud Principal of Col. Wm. Casey A Great School in need of a better facility! I wanted to thank you and everyone in our community that supported the proposed nickel tax and it's possible impact on the education of our children. Unfortunately we did not all see this issue with the same eyes or vision. While I realize that all who voted against the tax were not directing it at the students who now, and in the future, will attend school in the Col. Wm. Casey building, that is exactly who is affected the most by their decision. With that in mind I challenge those who opposed the tax to come up with answers to the problems that still exist the day after. These include:
As stated earlier, in spite of the outcome the staff at Col. Wm.
