Obituary: Robert McClister, 87, Adair Co., KY Mr. McClister was a member of a large respected South Adair County family. He leaves 39 living descendants. He was a member of Flatwoods Separate Baptist Church for over 46 years Robert McClister, 87, 6092 Burkesville Road, Columbia,Kentucky (the Flatwoods Community) passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at 8:07pmCT atT.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY after a short illness. The funeral service will be Thursday, December 17, 2009, at 10amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Carol Perkins officiating. Interment will be in the McClister Cemetery, 4136 Fairplay RD, Columbia, KY in the Fairplay community of Adair Co. Visitation will be after 3:30pmCT on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at the funeral home. Robert McClister, Adair Co., KY (1922-2009) He was born August 3, 1922, the son of the late Ray and Elmer Petty McClister of Adair Co., KY, and died December 14, 2009, at the age of 87 years, 4 months, and 11 days. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Louise Stotts McClister, Columbia, KY, and the following:
