Obituary: Darrell Wayne Compton, 64, Bowling Green, KY Mr. Compton was a well respected family with deep roots in Metcalfe and Adair Counties of KY. He was a retired truck driver. Darrell Wayne Compton, age 64, of Bowling Green, Ky, died Saturday, December 12, 2009, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Leatherwood Cemetery, near Nell, Adair Co., KY. Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pmCT, Monday, December 14, and after 9amCT, on Tuesday, December 15, at the funeral home. He was a retired truck driver and was the son of the late Venus Russell and Geneva Catherine Roach Compton.He is survived by the following:
