Obituary: Sue Ann Blair, 66, Center, KY

She a member of Whickerville Baptist Church and was a homemaker

Sue Ann Blair, age 66 of Center, KY, died Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY.

Funeral services will be 1pmCT, Saturday, December 12, 2009, at Whickerville Baptist Church, Hardyville, KY, with burial in the Whickerville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2pmCT, Friday, December 11, 2009, at the church.



She was the daughter of the late Jim and Cleoline Smith Bailey. She was a homemaker and member of the Whickerville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Charles Blair, of Centerm KY, and the following:

  • Four sons: Gordon and wife Margaret Blair of Monroe, KY; Richard Blair and friend Melinda Dodson of Glasgow, KY; Dale Blair and wife Mary of Center, KY, and Matthew Blair of Lexington, KY

  • Two daughters: Vanessa Yates and friend Royce Morgan of Greensburg, KY; andNatasha Jewell of Edmonton, KY

  • Two brothers: Danny and Jerry Bailey both of Center, KY

  • One sister: Carrie Blair of Horse Cave, KY

  • Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son Charles Ray Blair.
