Elizabeth Hopkins Patterson, 88, Campbellsville, KY, died at Monday, November 30, 2009, in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 2:30pmET/1:30pmCT, Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Cambpellsville, KY by Rev. J. Alvin Hardy and Rev. Phillip Kelley. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3678 Greensburg Highway, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 6pmET Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at the funeral home.



Elizabeth Hopkins Patterson, Campbellsville, KY (1921-2009)

Elizabeth Hopkins Patterson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Luther Jackson Hopkins and Alberta Ross Hopkins, was born October 19, 1921, in Patrick County, VA. She died at 12:09pmET, Monday, November 30, 2009 in Campbellsville, KY, at the age of 88 years, 1 month, and 11 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Living Grace Church.

She had been employed in the textile industry.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Arlene Smith of Campbellsville, KY

  • Nine grandchildren: Steve Smith, Greg Smith, Shane Smith, Anthony Gammons, Rene Gammons, and Michael Gammons of North Carolina, Todd Smith of Virginia, Suzanne Wilson and Marvin McCubbin Jr. of Campbellsville, KY

  • Nineteen great-grandchildren

  • Several great-great-grandchildren

  • One brother and two sisters: Luther Noel Hopkins of Virginia and Lucille Hundly and Orene Powell of North Carolina

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Gammons; four brothers: Lee Hopkins, Alvis Hopkins, Raymond Hopkins and an infant brother.Send a condolence to the family of Elizabeth Hopkins Patterson
