Absentee voting machine is open, office of Adair Court Clerk Office will be open 8am to 12 Noon CT on Saturday, December 5, and Saturday, December 12, 2009, for voting and regular business From Adair Co. Court Clerk Sheila Blair We now have the absentee machine ready in the Adair County Court Clerk's Office, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY, for the special election. Only those voters who will be absent from the county on election day are eligible to come in the office and vote.Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm Central Time.As always during any election we will be open on Saturdays for voting, the dates are Saturday, December 5, and Saturday, December 12, 2009 for voting, Saturday voting hours are 8:00am to 12pm Noon, Central Time. Voters who are unable to go to the polls due to age, illness, or any disability may obtain an absentee ballot thru the mail. To obtain a mail-in absentee, the voter may call the office to request a ballot, or one may be requested by a spouse, child, or parent. The phone numbers to the office are 384-2801 or 384-4007.
