Obituary: Joy Patton, 74, Taylor Co., KY

Joy Patton, 74, Campbellsville, KY, died at 3:05pmET, Wednesday, November 25, 2009, in Louisville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 3pmET/2pmCT, Sunday, November 29, 2009, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Ray Judd. Burial will be in Brooksside Cemetery, W. Main ST., Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmET, Saturday, November 28, 2009, at the funeral home.


Pallbearers will be Wendell Gilbert, Gary Hash, Gene Judd, Ronnie Patton, Donnie Wood, and Jerry Wood.

Joy Patton, Taylor Co., KY (1935-2009)

Joy Patton of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Elam Patton and Clyde Martin Patton Herron, was born in Taylor County, KY, October 28, 1935. He died at 3:05pmET, Wednesday, November 25, 2009, in Louisville, KY at the age of 74 years, 28 days. He united in marriage to Doris Jean Wood, August 16, 1957.
Besides his wife, Doris Jean Patton, he is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Steve Patton and his wife, Louise, and Ricky Patton, Campbellsville, KY

  • One granddaughter: Alanah Rae Patton, Campbellsville, KY

  • One great-grandson: Kasin Cole Bishopf Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister and one brother: Edith Hardin of Louisville, KY; and Doyle Patton and wife, Linda of Crestwood, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
