ACHS/Macys 09: The Band looked great About: Accolades coming in for bands spectacular show To ColumbiaMagazine.com The Band looked great and a lot of people are very proud of the kids. I did not like the lack of recognition that the community received when the announcer said "the kids paid their own way."The way I looked at it, they worked; but we, the "community" paid their way. I'm sure not knocking the band for being there; it is a great honor for them and area, the NBC network was misinformed or misunderstood. s/Joe Hare The network misunderstood, as Vice President of the Band Boosters Chris Knifley wrote to us immediately after the band was seen all over the world. They were given the correct information by The Band. -EW This story was posted on 2009-11-26 10:28:00
