Have any Thanksgiving, Christmas memories to share? Please do Do you have any favorite memories of a Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday from the past? Perhaps it's a story of good times in hard times. Perhaps it's a humorous story about Christmas legends, or learning lessons about greed or Christian sharing, or a special time of sharing, or of a reunion, or a a place or time which always evokes the holidays in your memory. Perhaps it is of a time away from South Central Kentucky, when Christmas was spent in a distant city, on a battleship, on a front. Perhaps it is a treasured family letter from the front. Perhaps it is a family photo, from Thanksgiving or Christmas past. Perhaps it is the story not of enjoying life's bounty, but of the more wonderful memory of sharing life's blessing with people who really needed it. Perhaps its a memory of a Thanksgiving meal which wasn't so grand, but the meaning of the day meant more. It can be long or short. Verse or prose. It can your authorship to top Charles Dickens or Jean Shepherd, or Earl Hamner. It can be from Christmas or Thanksgiving in Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell or Taylor Counties or about times away from the Center of the Universe, when you were away in college or the family had migrated to Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus or Detroit City, but thoughts were of South Central Kentucky.
