Two injured, one arrested, in Casey Co., KY injury accident Driver faces multiple charges following collision south of Liberty, KY. KSP Trooper Bryan Shepard, KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY investigated, assisted by Casey County Sheriff's Department and Fire Departments from Dunnville, KY and Evona, Casey Co., KY. By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY CASEY CO., KY - Collision occurred at 8:09pmET, Saturday, November 21, 2009, on KY 910, 7 miles South of Liberty, KY. Samuel Rodriguez, age 25, of Liberty, KY, who was belted, was operating a 2001 Dodge Northbound on Ky 910 when his vehicle left the roadway. He overcorrected, and ran off the other side of the roadway and struck a fence. Rodriguez was arrested at the scene and was charged with DUI, no operators license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, no registration receipt, and leaving the scene of an accident. Rodriguez was lodged in the Casey County Jail. Rodriguez was not injured. A passenger, Lauren Thomas, of Liberty, belted, was treated and released at Casey County Hospital. Trooper Bryan Shepard investigated. Casey County Sheriffs Department assisted along with Dunnville and Evona Fire Departments.
