Coach Graves sends thanks for 2009 football season ' ...a very special thanks to the young men who gave everything they had for this team. -COACH GRAVES The Adair County HS football season after a first game vs. Union County, at Morganfield in the post season playoffs, Friday night, November 6, 2009. By Eric Graves, Adair Co. High School Coach I would like to thank the community for all the support you have shown to the ACHS football team this year. I would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Treece, Troy Young, Jim Moss, "The Best Band in the Land" and their booster club for all the snacks on our road trips, band boosters for running the chains at our home games, and Ryan McQueary and Barry Hickson for running the game clock. AlsoDoug Holmes for announcing the games, Mike Curry and Troy Denton for announcing on the radio, WAIN, Duo Cable, Ricky Collins for driving us, Tammi Shelton and the greatest booster club for all your work and support, my coaching staff for all their hard work and loyality, their wives for giving up your time with your husband to let him coach for me, and a very special thanks to the young men who gave everything they had for this team. I know I have forgotten someone and I am sorry if I forgot you. Thanks, again Adair County for your support. I look forward to doing this all again in 2010 but until then let's jump onboard and support basketball in the winter and baseball/track in the fall.-Coach Graves This story was posted on 2009-11-09 07:38:30
