Mary Keltner sends link on town to watch: Greensburg, KS

Mary Keltner, Gradyville, KY, sent a link to a website which really deserves watching. It's Greensburg/GreenTown/Your source for everything Green in Greensburg, KS

It's the story of a small town which had a devastating tornado in May of 2007 and has been, the site's masthead says, "reinventing itself as a model for sustainable building and green living now recognized around the world. GreenTowns mission is to make green building and living easily understood, appealing and accessible to all."

The town is realizing the dream of a wind-farm providing full-time clean energy, with the dedication, October 26, 2009, of the Greensburg Wind Farm. Other articles on are innovative, energy saving homes.
