Pickett's Chapel UMC supper and auction is Nov. 7, 2009 Pickett's Chapel United Methodist Church, 3047 Portland RD, Columbia KY, in the Milltown/Portland area of Adair County, will hold a soup, chili and bean supper and fundraising auction on Saturday, November 7, 2009, with the meal starting at 5pmCT and the auction at 6pmCT. The meal will consist of potato soup, vegetable soup, chili, pinto beans, cornbread, grilled cheese sandwiches, crackers, desserts, and drinks. The meal will benefit the church youth group, and the auction proceeds will benefit the building fund for renovations and other maintenance needs of the church.
