Money is wasted in CWC's inefficient heating, cooling system About: Col Wm Casey School is in dire need of replacement To ColumbiaMagazine.com: The first thing that struck me about Patty Jones' article about CWC is what we are paying now for a very inefficient heating and cooling system, the daily maintenance activities, and the time managing all the systems and computers and other instructional tools because of the poor utilities. All these expenses are not going toward educating county children better. Just think if we had a new school designed to use power efficiently and weren't having to heat and cool parts of the building at the same time to be able to teach. Just think if we had a new school with adequate power in the classrooms to allow more PCs. Just think if we could use all that wasted cost to educate kids better.
