The Columbia Rotary Club will forego its usual Monday evening meeting this coming week in order to conduct a food collection drive at Columbia IGA, 900 Jamestown ST, Columbia, KY, in support of the Adair Food Bank, AKA The Food Pantry. Local Rotarians will be present at IGA from 4pm until 6pmCT Monday, November 2, 2009.

The Food Bank is experiencing an unusually heavy need for food at this time. Shoppers are being asked to purchase an additional can or cans or other non-perishable items to leave with the Rotary collectors as you leave the store.

Both Rotary and the Food Bank will appreciate your support of this effort to help the Food Bank meet the needs of families in Adair county who are facing difficult times.
