The DAILY NEWS for October 31, 2009

By Mindy L. Smith, Chair, Treats on The Town

Don't forget the Second Annual Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce Treats on the Town is TODAY, Saturday, October 31, 2009 between the hours of 5pmCT and 8pmCT. The Square will be closed off to through-traffic for the event!

Please use extreme caution Halloween night while navigating around the Square and the Columbia Bypass as well! Watch out for the Trick or Treaters!!

If anyone is interesting in setting up a "Treats Table" or a "Trunk of Treats," set up begins at 4:00pmCT, with the spots first-come-first-serve. Bring lots of candy or goodies to pass out. We anticipate a huge crowd since Halloween is on Saturday. This is an AWESOME event...fun for all ages!
