Derrick Giles Helm new member of the Kentucky Bar The Kentucky Supreme Court swore Mr. Derrick Giles Helm in as the newest member of the Kentucky Bar on October 16, 2009. Above, Justice Daniel Venters of Somerset, KY, administrated the oath of office to Mr. Helm after a motion was made by Robert L. Bertram to accept Mr. Helm as a member of the Kentucky Bar. Mr. Helm successfully set for the Kentucky Bar Exam in July of this year after graduating from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. Mr. Helm received his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University. Mr. Helm is the son of Wanda and Larry Helm of Jamestown, KY, and the grandson of the late Wesley and Jeston Giles of Columbia, KY.
