Youngs Mill: Bennett-Young marriage February 17, 1814 About: Youngs Mill: Samuel Young was the first Young in Adair Co KY To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Samuel Young;s daughter Mary Polly Young married John Bennett on February 17, 1814. The Bennett Family had moved to Adair County, Kentucky in the late 1700's from Baltimore County Maryland. The couple made their home in the area of Adair County that is now know as Fairplay. All of the Bennett families that have lived in southern Adair County including, Fairplay, Chance, Glens Fork are descendants of this couple.
