Lindsey Wilson Womens Soccer No. 2 in the Country COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College womens soccer team rose to No. 2, its highest ranking of the season, in the latest NAIA Womens Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll, released by the national office on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. The Blue Raiders (6-2-1, 0-0-0 MSC) received 583 points in the poll after pasting NCAA Division II provisional member King (TN) College 5-1 on September 23, 2009 in Bristol, TN. Lindsey Wilson freshman midfielder Saeda Sueki scored the first three goals of her career to lead the Blue Raiders past the Tornados. The freshman was awarded for her hat-trick performance on Monday, being named the Mid-South Conference Womens Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. The Blue Raiders also received goals from junior midfielder Caitlin Burke in the 50th minute and freshman forward Rebecca Bjorkvall in the 80th minute.California Baptist remained at No. 1 for the fourth straight week with 622 points and all 22 first-place votes. Lee (TN) University jumped from fourth to third with 571 points, followed by Azusa Pacific (CA) University at No. 4 with 561 points.
