Sidling Up Method of getting information best way, COF says

At risk of cross-county war of words, this post from the COF (Crusty Old Fool) of Knifley, KY, who's never short on words, takes dead aim at the research methodology of the Tractor Man of Fairplay, KY a taciturn man whose brief remarks often passionate dialogue, as it has on the pressing, relevant issue of the day: Where do you find a good cabinet maker in Columbia, KY area
About: Looking for good cabinet maker in Columbia KY area

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

Well, bless his soul, seems like the tractor man is having a difficult adjustment.

This just ain't the kind of question you put out there for publc confabulation.

Heck, just about everyone knows them that makes righteous casework, but you just need to kind of sidle up to someone you're comfortable with and kind of let them know what you have in mind and ask if they knows anyone who does that kind of work.

Why to just throw a question like that out to the wind is sure nuff to set neighbor agin neighbor and kin agin kin. Reckon before long he'll stumble onto a quilting bee and ask the ladies who makes the best biscuts!
