WEST LAFAYETTE, IN - In its final regular season mountain bike race of the year, the Lindsey Wilson College cycling team dominated the field at Purdue University on Saturday and Sunday, September 19-20, 2009.

The Blue Raiders amassed 1,645 points, shredding past second-place Purdue (648 points) and University of Michigan Ann Arbor with 331 points.

Junior Christopher Bogedin won the men's "A" short-track race, his first victory of the season, while freshman Adam LaRochelle placed second and fellow newcomer Scott Hoffner took fifth.

LaRochelle placed first in the men's "A" cross-country race on Saturday with Bogedin in fourth and Hoffner once again placing fifth. In women's "A" competition, freshman Jessica Crum finished second in cross country and third in the short-track race.

Newcomer Philip Martz scored a strong second-place finish in short track and took sixth in the cross-country race.

The surprise of the weekend occurred in the men's "C" cross-country event.
