Obituary: Ruth Jessee Collins Young Wade, 74, Adair Co., KY She was a member of a large respected family with deep roots in Adair and Metcalfe Counties. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was retired from Fruit of the Loom. The funeral service for Ruth Wilmajean Jessee Collins Young Wade, 74, a resident of Summit Manor Health and Rehab Center in Columbia, KY, formerly of Cane Valley, KY, will be Friday, September 18, 2009 at 1:00pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Kenny Jessee the officiating clergy. Interment in the Jessee Cemetery in Metcalfe Co., KY. The family request visiting after 4:00pmCT on Thursday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Ruth Wilmajean Jessee Collins Young Wade (August 24, 1935 - September 15, 2009) Ruth Wilmajean Jessee Collins Young Wade, was born August 24, 1935, the daughter of the late Edward and Millie Sparks Jessee of Metcalfe County, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 3:40pmCT at Summit Manor after a long illness, at the age of 74 years and 22 days. She was preceded in death by three husbands: Joe Collins Sr. August 23, 1977; Hayden Young, and Raymond Wade; and by two children, Kirk Douglas Collins on January 16, 1956, and an infant daughter in 1958. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren Crystal Gayle Collins and Kai Edwin Bailey and by one brother, Eulis Jessee and by one sister, Kizzie Gilpin.She is survived by the following:
