Lovie Kinnaird was among finest of women, a devout Christian About: Obituary: Lovie Howard Kinnaird, 84, Metcalfe Co., KY To ColumbiaMagazine.com I felt such a sense of loss today as I read the obituary of Mrs. Lovie Kinnaird of Edmonton. The circumstances which led to her having to spend her last years in a nursing home were such a tragedy! Lovie Clark Kinnaird was among the finest of women and a devout Christian. She will be greatly missed by her family and many, many friends. As I thought about her life, I was reminded of the story I wrote about Lovie and her husband R.T. several years ago for Senior Quest. She had ended our interview that day by quoting lines from a favorite old hymn of theirs which ran: " Through many dangers toils and snares, we have already come,May her loved ones find comfort in the fact that Lovie has simply gone home. s/Geniece Marcum This story was posted on 2009-09-09 06:05:56
