The Adair girls posted a 178 to Marion's 192. Adair was led by Natalie Sneed (40), Ashley Goodin (41), Emilee Royse (48), Dea brandon (49), Natalie Curry (52), and Rachel Phipps (56). Marion was lead by Hayley Abell (40), Olivia Carrico (48), and Amy Brown (49). "A score like that can be competitive in the Heartland Tournament and Region. I have felt all along that we had it in us. I was sure glad to see it today," Coach Kim Goodin said. Next up for Adair is a tri-match with Russell County and Metcalfe County at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson, 275 Country Club RD, Columbia, KY, on September 8, 2009, with tee time around 4:00pmCT.. "Russell Co. is one of the top teams in this area and state. I want to invite everyone out to watch," Coach Goodin said, adding, "I believe people would really enjoy it.".
