KSP Post 15 officers seize gambling machines in Russell Co., KY Devices are removed from TJ's and from Wade's Discount, both on East KY 80, Russell Springs. Information will be presented to Russell Co. Grand jury RUSSELL SPRINGS, KY - The Kentucky State Police, Post 15, Columbia and officers from the Russell County Sheriff's Department executed search warrants at two Russell County businesses on Monday evening, August 31, 2009 Officers executed search warrants at "TJ's" on East KY 80, better known as the "Aluminum Center Building". At the same time, officers also executed a search warrant at Wade's Discount also located on East KY 80. Illegal video gambling machines, as well as evidence of illegal poker games were seized. Officers also seized over $7,000 of suspected gambling proceeds. This search warrant is the result of a six month undercover investigation conducted by the Kentucky State Police and the Russell County Sheriff's Department. More search warrants are expected to be served targeting illegal gambling in Russell County. The information gathered will be presented to the next session of the Russell County Grand Jury.
