USDA in Columbia, KY has help for person needing AC Grants and loans available for home improvements needed for safety and health problems About: Health problems: Air condition needed To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Hi Ed. I wanted to let you all know of a program that is offered through USDA Rural Development for homeowners with very low income. We offer a 504 repair grant for those are over the age of 62 and a 1% loan program for those that may fall under that age range. We do heat pumps, roofs, windows, floors, etc. Basically the programs are for anything that could be a health and safety hazard. I will contact the lady in question who needs some air, but if you have any further contacts in the future, please feel free to have them contact me.
