Meade Co., KY's Alex Medley Inks with LWC Swimming

Lindsey Wilson College swimming coach Bart Garlick added his third swimmer on Thursday with the signing of Alex Medley.

Medley helped his 200 yard medley and 200 yard freestyle relay teams to 16th place finishes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association Swimming and Diving Championships.



"Alex is a terrific addition to our program as we continue to build the foundation of our first team," Garlick said. "I'm excited about Alex's future within our program. I expect he will have an outstanding career."

Individually, the Meade County High product finished fourth in 50 yard freestyle with a time of 23.45 seconds at the Region 3 Championships. Medley added a fifth place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.48.

Also in the regional meet, Medley helped his medley relay and 200 yard freestyle teams to a third place finishes.

Medley joins Daniel Lyle and Daniel Pulliam as the first three signees for Blue Raider swimming.
