Kelly Patterson, Windsor, KY receives Elliott scholarship Casey Countian will attend Somerset Community College Click on headline for complete story with photo By Dave Cazalet, Jr. Kelly Janine Patterson of Windsor in Casey County was awarded a 2009 Elliott Family Trust Scholarship to attend Somerset Community College. She is the daughter of Keith and Amy Patterson of Windsor, KY. The Casey County Elliott family left an estate in trust to provide Somerset Community College scholarships to Casey County residents. Each year several students will be provided with full tuition scholarships through the Elliott family's generosity. Patterson graduated from Casey County High School in 2009 with a 4.0 grade point average and ranked first in her graduating class of 134. Patterson plans to major in Biology at SCC. During high school Patterson played volleyball. She was a member of the Y-Club, the Beta Club, the Pep Club, and the student council. She received the Friends of Education Award.
