Duo County Telephone, 2009 Annual Meeting Click on headline for full story, photo(s) as posted By Ramie HutchisonMarketing/Videography, Duo County Telephone cooperative The Russell County High School parking lot filled quickly as Duo County Telephone members arrived for the telephone cooperative's 2009 annual meeting. The foyer of the High School was bustling with excited customers and welcoming employees. After the 517 Duo County Telephone members had registered, they filed into the RCHS gym where the meeting took place. At 7 PM, Duo County Telephone Cooperative's Legal Council, H.K. Cooper, called the meeting to order and covered the 2008 Annual Meeting's minutes. Bill Magruder, Duo County Telephone's Chief Executive Officer, proceeded by reporting on the cooperatives operations and anticipated progress for the upcoming year. Also addressed were announcements regarding Duo County Telephone services: Free activation plus first month of new services free for the Double and Triple Play Bundles, Free first month and installation for activation of our new Broadband Video service, and many other great deals on Duo County Telephone services. For more details contact Duo County Telephone at 343-3131. the conclusion of the meeting, door prizes were drawn turning 17 customers into winners. Winning the $100 Special Drawing was Rodney Snow, the winner of a Dell 20" Flat Panel Computer was Josh McKinley, and the winner of the Toshiba 32" Flat Panel TV was Maurice and Nona Atchley.
