Comment: The down sweet gum tree on Old Portland RD About: Tree down on Old Portland RD no job for right man Hey Ed, A hard working young man tugging on the Ol' Sweet Gum. Sweet Gum has a beautiful star-shaped leaf and usually grows in wet low lying areas that may or may not be well drained. Of course, with the weather we are having now I guess the Ol; Sweet Gum could grow just about anywhere. Maybe this one drowned! s/Billy Joe This story was posted on 2009-06-12 02:34:10
